got invited to start a car club
 

well ive been wanting to meet alot of people with fbody and corvettes around here so i could meet up with them..i joined sffba.net and its a florida fbody website so hopefully ill get to go to one of there meets when theres one closer...but i was at the gas station last night and i saw this gorgeous 02 Camaro..it was a v6 and it was black.. it was really nice and it had the ss spoiler...well these little kids in it were like 'wanna race?' and i just ignored them...but i wanted to see who drove the car so i waited a minute and this old guy came out (about 50) and he came up to my car and we were talking for a minute-he asked if i wanted to start a car club and we could go park our cars at the beach and have a few drinks...well i thought this could be cool if theres alot of members...and i asked him how many members are in the club and he said none yet...thats why me and him would start the club and get members... he gave me his card but im not gonna call him cuz he just seemed weird.......:sigh: i just want to meet up with alot of other people some time.....maybe ill get to from sffba.net sometime....is any1 here in any local car clubs? im just bored right now

im not officially in any clubs but in summer...every saturday the same 2 cars (chevy II and a charger) drive past my house and I wait for them all the time haha. As soon as they drive past my house I catch up to em and we cruise around and usually end up in a parking lot. (georgie porgie's for those of you who know Milwaukee).

I belong to Street Lethal Performance, but their website is down so I'm wondering if they disbanded, they didn't really do too much this summer from what I heard, dunno. There's tons of cruises and car shows and stuff here in the detroit area, so it's easy to hang out with peeps.

really i think he wanted more then drinks...and not a car club either.

he probably was like the rest of the board and thought you were effin hot and since you drove a nice car, he wanted to break the backseat in.

or he really could have just wanted to start a car club lol

ha yah, either or, but me aarontracy, and 95blackz, and other people has been looking for a club name, to call our self's.... We always hang out when its worm, at like my work and all (andvance auto parts) if u have a car u can come, theres plenty of diff. varietys of cars, like imports, ole school, muscle, all kinds, trucks, etc...... We have fun, sometimes cruise around town, then late at night we go and race....

The last time i went when it was worm, i was the last race before the copse come, or should i say the race when the cops came, yah they chased me down, but i stopped for them... I waited in them, i was to scared to run any more. But i knew the cop, he bout gave me a 11 point ticket, and at my age i think i only have 8 points on my license. So bam. But he didnt give it to me. But the suckiest thing about it is watching all the cars pass u that were at the races while ur pulled over, not a fun experience.. I said i would never do it again.. but i think i am going to wind up racing some more lol, but this season i plan to be hitting the strip up alot..... (THE LEGAL WAY)

there aren't enough f-bodies areound here to start a club. Up closer to Pittsburgh, yeah, but around here there aren't. I wish there was, though. It'd be nice.
