So we have the stereo in the car done, and I need some good sub music. Recommend anything, rap, rock, polka, whatever.

That would be good. I found a couple of bass test CD's on Demonoid, but the torrent is dying as I type this.

ill test some tunes on my laptop with my Bose Sound system :)

Yeah! from Usher hits hard

TorqueDog 09-03-2007 02:12 AM

Instead of specifically looking for tunes with lots of bass, why not just listen to something that you like to listen to?

Believe it or not, a lot of music you wouldn't expect to have 'mad craaaa-zy bass' actually benefit a lot from a potent bass setup. Acoustic rock and country, to name a couple.

when I hit 170 db I did it with a country song (the Iasca test disc had it on it) if you can find some of the old dynamixII stuff it was good (very very low frequency sweeps) techmaster, bass 305, power supply, dj magic mike, I'll check my old demo discs and see what else I have, also note if it's an mp3 don't bother, the compression kills low frequencies (most of the ones I checked were no lower than 85 hz which is where I crossover my 6.5's where the song went down to 20 hz originally)

Heck, Jimi Hendrix carrys alot of bass.. I dont care for the thumpin' and Bumpin' I have to turnt he Bass Way down, when listening to Jimi..

Yeah, I had that problem also... took me a bit of deep searching.

But yeah, what tork said. Bass will sound for the first week, but youd be surprised by how good some regular songs sound. I did a huge variety, and Thriller is the best sounding song Ive ever heard as far as quality goes. I listen to a bunch of types of music, but Ill get that list for you later tonite.

Bernotas05 09-05-2007 04:42 AM

I have allways been a fan of pink floyd. Thier music definatly benifits from the added bass.

paarman97maro 09-05-2007 10:48 AM
