how about
Chad, how about we just make the water cooler not count for post count? Then the thread **** over there (Josh) won't keep closing our threads 'cause who the hell cares.

it just seems like the water cooler originally was supposed to be for all the off-topic off-beat no-point threads... but lately any thread that doesn't have a point is closed or deleted... just seems to ruin the fun sometimes. I mean, lookin at the forum right now... there's 3 closed threads, and that's just on the first page.

yeah I mean don't get me wrong I don't care THAT much, but it does get kinda annoying when all the pointless-fun posts get closed... just seems like we're getting too trigger happy lately.

No bro that's NOT what I'm saying; I understand where you're coming from but what I'm saying is let's make water cooler not count for post count and then we can post as much meaningless crap as we want because it's not just raising our post count or affecting anything.

that's what I always thought, that's why I get frustrated about our "nething posts" getting closed. I understand Josh not wanting to allow people to post meaningless stuff just to up their post count, which is why I'm saying let's just make the watercooler's posts not count.
I mean hell, 90% of my post count has come from this forum alone, so I am very guilty about getting my post counts from meaningless stuff, but if it's going to cause so many problems I'd rather not worry about my posts contributing to the post count.
