I hate crowds so I didn't go but I watched most of it. Couldn't drive yesterday, still drunk from Canada day, so tuned to CTV. Floyd was awesome, and I hope they have a tour. All in all aside from Celine getting booed like huge, it was great. :thumbsup

That was the best thing I've been to so far this year. After Jan Arden got off stage (boo hoo), started getting crazy. The Crue went on, they were insane... a hell of a lot better then I thought they'd be. Those guy's are so old and they still know how to get the crowd going nuts. Then they put the London feed on the screens and Pink Floyd was playing... crazy crazy crazy.

The whole Live 8 thing really restored my faith in man kind. Awesome show. I hope you guys have signed the list. :thumbsup

Yeah it was handled way better than Woodstock last year. That was a crock.

Money wont help without first developing an infrastructure..

I think an infrastructre has been in place for years... they're called relief organizations and they do a hell of a lot more then you think (obviously). World Vision (for example) is more then just a organization that collects money and sends it to kids overseas. They go into villages and teach the people how to be self sufficient, like how to properly harvest crops and raise livestock so that they can sell it at a market and earn money. That's just a fraction of what companies like WV do.

I hope this deal was not a waste of time. The Live 8 that occured 20 years back made a difference hopfully this one will too.

Guys, I am watching right now. BUT I totally confused. is it live right now? (Monday 9:44) and is it going somoltaniously (sp) (all of the concerts at the same time?) ? is it free, when does our concert at Barrie starts?
