I got Screwed at the Spectrum Carwash Columbus, GA
 

If didnt have bad luck I would have no luck at all.....the other Fri night 4/28/06 I took my 90' Gt which had original paint and looked like it was near new, through the car wash at Spectrum on Airport Throughway in Columbus, GA. .... (I tried to spruce it up a little before Sat's car show) yea I know those things are not the best but who would have thought it would have dulled my paint to the point it looks like black primer!!!!!! Well I called them as soon as it happened they suposidly filled out a report on Mon morning but by Wed afternoon I called their claim handler and she haddent seen it yet... Well at first they said they were not responsible since its a 90' but I reminded them the carwash says 100% safe on the side.... they said they would pay goo-goo car wash to buff it but I had 3 body shops say it wasnt buffable... I ask why would a company that has 90 some odd strores most with car washes need an account at the goo-goo..... You do the math.... Well If it doesnt buff out I guess its time to go higher...... She said they wouldnt pay to paint it or even pay part of it.... It it doesnt work I have to talk to her boss she said..... So for all of you out there dont use their carwashs..... No finish is safe even though it says 100% safe on the side. Well I keep you all posted on what happens..
Well after 2 atempts to buff the paint and it didnt work, so I called Spectrum and they told me that thats as far as they were going to go... they said the car was 16 yrs old with original paint that was oxydized... oxydizes???? I have pics from 2 weeks before and the car was shiny... you can ask anyone that knew the car and they could vouch for the shape of the paint... So here begins the bull SH$#.... I tried to get them to meet me half way, they said they were done so I tried to flex and they said that had I not they would have worked with me... what kind of sense does that make.. first they are through then they would have helped had I not flexed up????? that makes no sense..... Oh well no loss..... Ill let my insurance persue them, Ill post this on every web site I am a member of, as well an get a sticker cut for the back window " I got screwed at the spectrum car wash... ask me how ..334-@#$-%$@%" Its amazing... where I work if we make a produst that causes damage to a customers product we fix it whatever it takes!!!!!
Im posting 1 before and 2 after pics. Keep in mind same car just new wheels on it.

Damn bros, its such a change it is hard to believe!!

Had you stuck to your guns they prolly would have paid up..something, but soon as you backed down to them you looked like you were just trying to get something out of them.

I would pursue it as far as you can go, get some proof together and kick some ass.
