i HATE cops
 

Well, the last thing I could have possibly expected today happend. I got up, went to work, put in my hours, went back to my apartment where I met Adric, got my ****, and we headed off to visit home for the weekend. About an hour and 15 mins into our trip we are exiting a town and the speed limit goes from 30-45-55... I am just going with the flow of traffic, the same speed as everyone else while me and Adric are conversing, then all of a sudden, we see a cop in the opposing lane passing us... I look down and I'm speeding, unaware. I see everyone slam on their breaks, and I begin to slow down as well.. sure enough the a$$hole does a U turn and who does he go after? thats right, the camaro. So I get pulled over he asks for my lisence, and insurance... I grab my insurance card and its the wrong one, he says its expired... at this point I panic because I know I just got a new card, and I begin to search for it.. in the meantime, he asks if I have any drugs or weapons in my car, im like WTF, no... then he asks where i live, where im headed, where i go to college, who owns my car, and finally tells me to keep looking for the insurance and goes back to his car... hes back there, then another cop comes to Adrics side and I panic because of my illegal tint.. I roll my window down and she asks my middle name and how to spell it... and then she asks how long ive been living in minnesota, i say 2 weeks.. .she goes back, and while they are back there Adric finally finds my insurance card, so after an eternity the cop comes back and I give it to him, he tells me hes going to fix my ticket, and write on my car (a$$hole) so he tells me he gives me a ticket for going 59 in a 45, which Adric or I dont believe I was going that fast, and then he leaves... to top it off, on the ticket he writes CAMERO... honestly... he is right behind my car, who is that stupid, better yet who cant read... anyways, Im pretty pissed off as some of you know I just lost my trial against my other ticket for unecessary acceleration, and now my insurance will skyrocket even more for sure. What a horrible month for me... still nothing is looking up :(

**** bro that sucks, i hate ******* cops like that that pull of the car that just looks fast when most likley there were people on the same road going faster in a beat up car or somethin... id be pissed, i got a 50 dollar ticket last night in my bronco for havin my system up too loud... well i had that coming he was 3 blocks away when he hit the lights, my stereo kicks *** in that but i had the top off the back so it was a lot louder..

While it does suck, you were speeding, unfortunately. Are radar detectors illegal in your states? They're legal here in MI, and it's the first thing I invested in. The only time I've ever been pulled over was driving my company's minivan. Otherwise, I've always been aware of cops coming with their radars on, and I've always adjusted speed before they can get my car's speed.

well Now, that sounds like my luck...
And the part about the cop writing on the vehical, i would would say, Please dont write on my car i try to keep it as nice as i can, and dont need people writing on it.. And whats he going to do about that? besides go to his car and finish writing the ticket...

Well, it just wasnt very fair that they singled me out of everyone else... they passed at least 5 other cars going the same speed as me, then they pulled me over out of the line... I have a radar, but its a little old, I dont always trust it... plus it was around a little bend, so i dont think mine would have cought it...

hhaa... then he would pull out some disorderly conduct **** on me, and give me another ticket with the luck ive been having... i almost said somthing to him, but i bit my tongue

haha yeah... i know theres a lot of people that are friends with cops here, and dont have any problem with them, but i always seems to be singled out, it just bugs the hell out of me, and it just makes my already ****-on life, worse

you were singled out for a few reasons, first is age, second may have been the way you did something (like hit the brakes hard when you see a cop, that's a great way to get a ticket) it could be he clocked you and you were faster than the cars behind you (maybe only by a mph)it is common for cops to go after sports cars (our favorite target in GA was a specific model mercedes) you don't want a ticket obey the law, and don't worry what everyone else is doing, out of a 10 car pack only one can be stopped so if your car stands out it's the one that will be stopped

if you have real dark tint they figure you are young, if not they can see you

okay this is pointless to argue... i had sunglasses and a hat on... and if he 'appearantly' clocked me, it sure as hell wasnt right when he was along side me to see my tinted windows that arent that dark, they clock you ahead of time, and he was driving past me...
