Identity Theft question

I,m not really computor literate , meaning I can type messages on some car sites and search some stuff . Thats about it . My question to any one smarter then me , is , How easy is it to find someones info using a computor . Like licence credit and social ins info . Is that easy or do you have to be a super hacker to do it . Thanks .

Your best bet, is to make sure you delete any cookies, temp internet files, etc from your computer every time you shut down IE, or Opera, or Firefox, or whatever you're using. Then it's a little harder for anyone to steal your computer, and hack your stuff. I also use Ccleaner it seems to do a good job.
Another hint, if you buy lots on line, is to go buy a Capitol One card. I've got one, with a $200 limit, that I use online, to buy stuff. Then, if anyone grabs that card number, I'm out maybe $200, instead of whatever.

Someone got in touch with me and informed me they had personal info regaurding me . And the info was correct , this person lives about an hour and a half from me . Thats why I was asking if it easy to grab this info over the internet . I dont buy anything unless I ,m paying by money order . ..77.

U'd be surprised at what some ppl can do, and some times even overseas, someone who lives 1000s of miles away.
