Most of you already knew that, but I'm going to share a story about my idiocy today.

I was given a PS3 last night and went to Radio Shack today to get an HDMI cable for it. Without looking at my TV situation, I realized I should have probably went with component cables instead so I took the HDMI cable back.

Went to Hastings to get some component cables, and they wouldn't come off of the little hangy locky thing, so I told them to get me some scissors and I would cut them off. They told me if I did that, I couldn't bring them back. I said it was cool, I knew for sure I wasn't going to be bringing them back.

Come home, get ready to hook up the PS3 and discover that both of the component places are filled, and the only thing open is HDMI. So now I have to go get a HDMI cable and try to return these component cables.


Cliffs: Bought the wrong thing to hook up a PS3 knowing I could not return them if it didn't work. Didn't work, now I am sad.

I guess I might ask around and see if anyone local wants to buy these off of me for a little bit of a discount. Might as well try to get something out of the situation, right?
