Just wondering if anyone has imported a vehicle fomr the states, specifically a bike. Theres about a $3,000 difference between what cdn dealerships are charging versus US dealerships for an brand new 06 F4I.
The info i could get from the gov't is that it's duty free but i have to pay GST on the purchase price which would be about $500. There are also tons of forms and getting the bike safetied here. There always seems to be hidden costs and areas that will make this not worthwhile. Anyone had any experiance?
