I say keep the 99. The LS1 does very well on gas for a V8. The ZR2 will not do as well as you expect on gas. The ZR2 weighs quite a bit more then the average Blazier and if you jack it up then you basically just defeated the whole purpose of buying the truck in the first place.

yeah you can pick up a front clip for around 2k, ill be getting an SR here soon, and at work its all going to get installed for free and in the shop, and then i get to make a custom ECU for it, and i have a few other plans but as time and money permits. i have a friend with a coupe that has the RB25det in it. and that thing is fast.

don't buy a blazer, it is the biggest POS suv ever made. It will do nothing but break down. Your friend will be fixing that car a lot in a while. especially if you get one up in the higer miles.

I'd say keep the Formula, it will be quite a while that you are going to be restoring the other Formula if you plan on making it really nice, so the gas mileage problem for it won't be a problem till later, and like you said, you won't be driving it all that often. If you want to get rid of something, get rid of the Bronco and get something that will get decent/really good gas mileage, although it may not be your dream car. That's why I have my Neon. Its not what I want, but it gets 30 miles to the gallon, and is fine for all weather. I wouldn't go with that 98+ Blazer, the gas mileage on it won't be that great.
