LF: Road Installer- 12 Volt
 

Seeking motivated Road Installer. This position will report to our office loacted in Mississauga.

What are you installing?

A device that is at the heart of a system built around wireless technology. The system locates stolen goods, notably, vehicles, heavy equipment, cargo and watercraft. Stolen goods are usually recovered within the hour and within a one metre radius of their actual location, anywhere in North America.

JOB SUMMARY:

Assure and secure quality installation of all tracking Products and Services in a large range of exclusive vehicles, mainly from new car dealerships in Ontario.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Ensure proper and timely installation of all tracking products into automobiles at locations specified by dispatch, normally the new car dealer;
Responsible for maintaining full and complete records of each installation, and transmitting all paperwork to the office on a daily basis;
Perform all necessary tests;

Complete daily paperwork / installation reports of jobs performed;
Correctly disassemble and reassemble customer vehicle panels and perform installations;

Verify the units that were recalled by the Company and, if necessary, replace the unit originally installed in the vehicle;
Installation of all vehicle tracking consumer products within standard time and quality guidelines;

Book appointments with customers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
12 Volt experience a must including installation of alarms and remote car starters.
Experience with installations such as car stereos, alarms and GPS systems;
High school diploma or equivalent.
Superior customer service skills;
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record;

Strong knowledge of different types of vehicle (car, boats, heavy machinery);

Working knowledge of industry related tools and specialized software
