I believe Canada has upted the security levels a wee bit. I was warned earlier today at Japan post that there could be a delay of 1-2 weeks for Canada bound mail which usually takes 5-8 days. They even gave me a new Customs form to fill-out.

Very sad state of affairs and I hope my country is never encountered by these mas-distructive terrors.

i have a lot of Islamic friends and they tell me that the extremist interpretation of Koran that you have mentioned are a minority extremists...

had they not started meddling in Middle East during early 90's and pissed off a whole bunch of nations none of these large scale attacks would have occurred...

Nope, it is indeed as you read it. The only liberal interpretations are by those in the media and by muslims themselves who don’t want you to know what this religion is really all about. Read the damn koran, it’s full of this barbaric, racist and twisted crap. Not really surprising considering that Islam’s founder; Muhammad was a tyrant, (married a 6-year-old) and heavy a drug user who wrote the koran during heroin induced traces while huddling in a cave (literally).

If you truly believe this isn’t mainstream, ask yourself, why is Osama bin Laden the most revered living individual in Islam who is idolized by hundreds of millions throughout the Islamic world.

Also, how many Christian lunatics do you see flying planes into buildings, intentionally suicide bombing women and children, cutting off heads, idolizing mass murderers etc….

This is not an interpretation; it is quite literal as these verses are crystal clear to anyone with an IQ higher than a rock.

a) They don’t know themselves which is not really unusual considering that very few people of most religions ever actually bother reading their scriptures.

What about the Bible with life beginning with Adam and Eve?

What about this flood that supposedly happened to wipe out the bad on the earth?

Science does not prove anything in the Bible.

Also our week is 7 days since it took 6 days to build the earth and 1 day for resting.
Santa Clause is not real - but he is a symbol of Christmas - which is a day for Jesus.

And so much more...

Our lives revolve around the Bible (if we like it or not) and anyone that is really dedicated to a religion (other then Christians/Catholics) must be upset at this.

You guys can not believe everything you read - use common sense of what is wrong and good.

All religions (so I believe) are trying to do is sort out the right from the wrong - while telling you that if you do the right things in life, your life will be fulfilling and you will die happy.

That my take on religion.


Now for CNN.

They are 100% biased.

Like when the Gulf War took place - nothing was shown other then a desert. Same with the Afganistan war.

They have cities just like us - but nothing real is shown - so it looks like we are just blowing up things in the desert.

I personally feel that everything is happening because of greed. What else can it be?

I feel bad for all the people that are dying due to this. But really... what can we do? We can talk on here day and night. We can get a million people to sign something to say we want the war stopped - even a billion - nothing would happen.

The world will come to an end because of this. Maybe not now, or in the near future, but this will end all.

With the technology advances in the last 15 yrs, think of how this will look in another 15.

There are so many facts against the US - but I can not see anything positive for them.

I did read something about Korea having Nukes, and China telling the US to stay out of it - which I think they agreed to.

Why is the US not going after the place that obvioulsy has weapons of mass destruction?

I think it is because China and Korea could wipe out the US if they wanted to.

I say everyone from TSR hops on a bus to the USA and just start kicking the out of everyone once we get off the bus. I think this is the only way to make things better in the world.
