A man was driving, late for work and noticed a motorcycle cop...
 

A man was driving, late for work and noticed a motorcycle cop on an over pass with a radar gun. Well sure enough, that same cop pulls hims over. When the cop approaches the driver's door he asks "What's the hurry pal?"

The driver replies "I am late for work"
The cops asks "What do you do"
driver replies "I'm an stretcher"
Confused, the officer askes "What the hell does an stretcher do?"
The driver says" Well, I put one finger in an , then I put 2 fingers in, then I get all five in, then both hands in and I stretch it until it is 6 feet"

The cops asks with total confusion "What do you do with a 6 foot ?"

Driver smiles and says "You place him on top of an overpass with a radar gun!!!"

Ticket = $200.00
Look on officers face = priceless

Hmmm a cop with a motorcycle doing radar from on top of an overpass.....

Given how long it would take the cop to mount his motorcycle and get down the overpass to chase the speeder, the speeder could have been long gone if he noticed the cop on the overpass and increased his speed......

i dunno about you, but every time i've seen a cop pn a bike doing radar, he was already sitting on the bike gun in one hand, holding the clutch in other so al he has to do is put the gun down and just go if he has someone...

Still has to get to the onramp and down the 100 meter on ramp. Hypothetically speaking you see the cop on the over pass 200 metres before you pass him, you know your ed and he begins to proceed to intercept you, upon your sight of him you speed up from 120 to ?...I wish I was better at math but you could probably figure out how many metres you are down the road before the cop will actually be on the highway and not on the on ramp. If you go balls to the wall you could probably be almost a kilometer away by the time he's on the highway.

I'm not advocating this I'm just saying....overpass speed traps are not flawless.

yep, then he radios his partner, who is waiting at the next overpass...

if you're doing under 150 its not worth it to run...
