McDonalds sent me a SPAM TEXT MESSAGE!
 

Needless to say, I'm calling customer service and threatening to sue them for spam texting me. :mad:

All of that over one spam text message...Welcome to the 21st century, bro.

But see, this is the thing... 10 cents per text message. I have unlimited text messaging, but I'd rather make the firm stand now before more companies do the same thing. Can you imagine what it'd be like if you got as many spam text messages as you do spam email? You'd be effectively charged 5 dollars a day to receive someone else's spam. Call me a hypocrite for having unlimited text messaging and making a big deal about it, but I was just planning on switching to cingular, which would then mean I'd have that whole 10 cent fee per text.

exactly they are not allowed to call cell phones since it falls under the same laws as fax machines you have to ask for the stuff

mcdonald's spam, lol. That is wrong, though, spamming with a text message when it does cost $ for a lot of people.

i responded to the text message saying spam text messaging is illegal and will be dealt with accordingly. :D

yeah but it might be free...cingular texts me little junk every now and then and those are free. whats funny though is how its written in such slang.
