MECP certification

Hey I was just wondering if anyone has a MECP certificate (Mobile Electronics Certified Professional) ?

If anyone has a taken the exam or has any expierence/knowledge about the certificate and how useful it really is I'd appreciate your comments...

i know mobile dynamics in markham does it. i was gonna get it too... i guess with it you can get a job installing audio at like futureshop or something easier than people without it, but im guessing for the custom audio shops, you need alot of experiance and the mecp should help

Experience is key, I have it though. I went to Mobile Dynamics. It was a fun couple months but was it worht the money??? not really...for a couple grand i'd say yes but not $5000. I would just got for the MECP, its pretty straight forward.

Thanks for the input guys...I'll probably order the book and just take the test..

[got three weeks to kill for winter break & no cash to spend to work on the car]..
