People aren't just looting plasma screen tv's and swimming them back home a few miles for their non-existent living rooms you know. They aren't stealing sick car stereo's for their car thats under 8-feet of water either. Aswell, the majority of the goods in the stores are going to be ruined via flood anyways, so might aswell put it to good use.

Now dont get me wrong, some are looting for the wrong reasons...but be honest with yourself, you would loot too. And lets all commend cnn for another GREAT video, anyone else find it interesting how cnn ONLY shows african american's looting and labels it as only minorities that are looting?? rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrright.....

funny, another station this morning had the mayor of new orleans via telecast and he stated himself the looting is in often cases for those who dont have food and are simply trying to survive...

shut the up.The reason you dont see white in the vids because aviously they are not the ones LOOTING.There have been many vids out in the past few days and there are little to no whites in any of the looting schenes.Stop trying to mask the responsibility these people have for there own actions.Yeah those damn racist news reporters yep the same ones that saved rodney kings ass.

Did you not notice all these feeds from the past few days are from the same broadcast? Did you fail to read-up on the mayor of New Orlean's comments in regards to the Looting? Well if ya did, you would know why the MAJORITY is looting. The media works in mysterious ways.

Yes indeed and how do you know your media isint pilling another steaming nugget of onto your screen? I see things how they are I dont try to hide behind excuses for these people.Even in toronto racial profiling is on a start and that was the idea of a BLACK MAN look into it.

Do you have any idea why people are looting? Forget the race and look at the reasons why. Your house is washed away, everything you have lived for is gone and 8 feet under water. It's called SURVIVAL. 99% of the food, clothing, etc. that is being "looted" would be washed away/ruined/expired within the next week anyways. Why not atleast utilize whats left for your own and for your family's survival? How many of these people do you see swimming off with entertainment systems or a personal computer? Next to none. The people that are will be dealt with accordingly, but to say they have lack of respect for their community or to profile based on race is completely biased and unjust.

Don't believe me? Just ask my girlfriends divorced father who did not evacuate New Orleans a few days ago and decided to ride out the storm, but now has been forced to evacuate due to the sheer impact of the storm.
