my opinion....engine = gas (fuel burning causing combustion)
motor = electric drivin...

If it makes u feel good then your right in your own mind.

You are right, There is more to it but im feeling to lazy.

Motor = converts electrical energy into mechanical energy

Engine = converts heat energy into mechanical energy

... or at least that's what I've heard.
