'New' Job...
Well, today I officially got a 'new' job. Same old place, but different area. Instead of the shoe dept., I am now a Cash Office associate. Means I'll be handling all the money, counting it, going over the accounts, the registers for overages/shortages, pass out paychecks, stuff like that. More responsibility than before. And I hardly have to deal with customers at all, because I will be in a nice, cool, enclosed 2 room office. Now, I'll just (mostly) be dealing with other employees. I got moved from part-time to full-time, and with the raise I'll be making about $200 more a month. And because of that I've decided to hold off on getting Mayhem painted till next spring. I'll be able to save up enough to get her painted the exact way I want. Plus that gives me another 4-5 months to finish bodywork and have everything perfect. It means I won't make it to any car shows here this year, but next summer Mayhem will be totally kick-a$$, with her new paint, new parts, and new upholstery if all goes well. And she may even have a new stablemate, who knows? That or the Dodge will be getting a mini makeover(wheels, R/T spoiler, some performance, new paint next summer - doing that ourselves).
