Anyone getting one?

Ill be honest, I stay with the times and told myself Im not buying nintendo anymore after game cube. I loved 64, most games for it, and I loved that mario... after that it all went downhill and they made gay *** mario games, and nothing just original with the basic people like maro bros, super mario bros, and mario 64.

but now Im really considering getting a Wii... After looking into it, the system is sweet in itself... there really hasnt been anything like this before, (like that one youtube demo of the controller/call of duty) and for $250, you cant beat it at all. The only thing I dont like is they wont make GTA games for it, not yet anyway, since those are my fav games.

But I really think IM gonna get one within the next month or month and a half... Its looking promising to me... AND theyre making a couple decent mario games pretty soon.

B-rod was just calling around and it seems theres people lined up everywhere haha... So hes not getting one tonite.

Nintendo has MORE then enough systems...no need to line up anywhere you can get one haha. I wouldnt mind one the controller thing seems differnt so you will have to let me know paar.

what's funny is after they release a new system they make an announcement saying they are going to only make software, then a few years later come out with a new one that in all business sense flops (the 64 sold too few to make it profitable especially compared to sony and microsoft)

Nintendo has never really ran the market, they always do just fine in sells etc....they aim more to kids anyways then adults always been like that.

I like how it supports gamecube games and nintendo DS, I might get one, I will probally trade in my gamecube for one. Only if Resident evil comes out on it.

nope not getting one. wont even consider buying a game system right now

You can aslo buy nes,snes,n64 games for it to download for like 5-10 bucks a game pretty cool idea to I think.

Yeah I think thats a great idea... while I think the price is a little steep for some games that are less than a meg, but whatever. I hope it drops some in the future... I was thinking more along the lines of $1 would be more than enough to ask for NES games.

they haven't made money on the hardware since the playstation was introduced, they make a ton on software

Yeah... And the software they sell is the games for the systems.

Theyve released more game systems in the past 5 years than the other console companies.

they sell software to sony, and microsoft also (they own the rights to alot of the games out there)

I stopped by target last night aroung 11 and gave everyone crap about standing in line all night. Said i was off to my warm bed and id see them in the morning lol. Target opened at 8am and i showed up at 7:45 to get one of the last two spots on line. Haha what people stood in line for 18 hours for, i got in 15 minutes :lolsign: and i let them know that too

anyways i just played if for a lil bit and its so sick! the sensors work perfect! Its pretty neat just pointing at the screen with your remote to do everyting. works just like a computer. something that it pretty cool too is the built in wifi....so i can connect to our wireless network :)

I can just picture you running around in a living room playing a game with the hand motions and all haha.

ya feel like a fag but damn its fun. the free game they give you is pretty cool
