Nissan 350z has no on me... 2007 GTI MKV
Hit a 13.823 my first time on a drag strip with 6 degree weather in all season continental tires. Beat 3 different 350z's the best they could hit is a 13.951.
When I put my drag radials on I will shave off .500 off my time well thats what people are getting so I think 13.323 is amazing for a car that weigh 3700 lbs that has 10 air bags has amazing quality and is considered a luxury sports hatch and drives just amazing.
I would take the GTI over the civic si or even the g35 because I have already put more into my car then a g35 is worth and am very happy with it.

My car rocks so much best balance for LUXURY LOOKS SPEED and best bang for the buck by far, with the new technology like the DSG being the future for formula racing cars and high end performance cars like Lambo and Bugatti I feel like I have alot of technology, not to mention all the materials are top grade and the engine is in its league of it self the engine is just amazing so easy to tune.
VW and Audi are back they have returned with amazing platforms and cars and are just simply amazing.
Sorry but no American car in even the 60 000 $ price range competes with this cars balance of stuff.

Ops seems like people have gotten 13.1 in my car with my mods but with the Drag radials..

Wow. Volkswagon are not that special. I will admit the new ones look good and are probably good cars too but still are Germans cheap cars. I would take a bimmer, benz, or porsche, before looking at a volkswagon. You pay the same expensive prices for parts as you do for a bimmer and get in my mind half the car. For $60 000 you could have bought a nice bimmer or benz. Damn you probably could have bought a S4 too.
An Acura TL runs 14.3 stock and has more luxury features than your car. Add some performance parts to that and i'm sure it will smoke you too.
You also could have bought a 335 bimmer which runs 13.6 stock and it too has more luxury features.
I will admit the new gti looks amazing and probably is a really nice car.

I paid 40 000 $ with tax im just saying this car is as good as a 60 000 $ in quality. NO it is not cheap at all, American cars are cheap, hondas are cheap Toyota is cheap... Vw has the same quality as audi but a different name... I would never buy a Benz the quality sucks of late bmw is good but the qualityu of materials are just as good as a bmw or benz.

VDUBS sucked for the last few gens. But the new vw platform is great and has won so many awards. Have been out for 5 years in eroupe so I am confidant it will not have problems like the old platforms had.

These are some ganksta mods yo. Definitely had the edge on those 350z with this gear...add some LED tips and you will outgun the spaceshuttle.

the gti is still a turd!!! for the amount of money you pay its SLOW!!! stock for stock the 350z will lay beatings...plus it RWD...come on, its good you like your car and im proud of you for being happy with what you bought, but take your head out of the clouds!
now if you want to compare fwd to fwd i would have taken the Mazdaspeed 3....do the same mods as you have done and the Mazda who is owned my FORD( who you say wont come close, cuz its "American") will lay shillackings!!!

it's fine to be proud of your car and all, but don't get too cocky in your high 13 second GTI when some of the 350z's on this site would wallop your *** on the road without even blinking.

Thats like saying srt4 > gti .... Even tho the mazda 3 platform kills the neon platform you just dont make it that fast... Sorry but those brakes suck on the car ....
I never said it was blazing fast.. If I wanted stupid fast I could of got a sti or srt4 but both are butt ugly and all you pay for is an engine and no interior quality and one car is an American ca
..... DOOO DOOOO When I sit in my car I feel like its worth 40 000 $ and then some... When I sit in a mazda3 speed or a sti I feel like I spen 30 000 $....NOT TO MENTION IM GOING STAGE 3 THIS YEAR WITH A K04 BRINGING giving me 450 hp to the wheel...
