Look the Mazda3 speed is the same as a srt4 to me... an engine and thats it.... Im talking about the 350z/g35, audi tt, bmw, boxter, lexus, class...... The quality of these cars and how good the interior is in the gti and the design and is fast.... Sorry but my car has 10 air bags stock that alone weighs the car a lot...
As I said I could buy a srt 4 a mazda 3 speed but they drive like and handling feels like crap not to mention the interior quality...
Oh and dyno numbers for the the K04 turbo upgrade by APR is 450 hp even tho its fwd it is the limit this car will ever get being fwd and yes it can put it to the ground with slick on the track. With apr you just select programs for daily driving or track or stock. Its not a straight K04 its a modified K04 and yes it does do these numbers.

What kind of bs are you saying? I dyno 250 hp with a k04..... What ever you say man because the modified k04 from APR has been dynoed at 450 hp the new gti.

Only problem mine is 2 door but 4 door is offered but I wanted 2 door so yeah. Get your facts right before you call the car small. Its prob bigger then your car..

Just made my first post/thread a sec ago and the title of this thread caught my eye. My buddy is a big fan of the GTI and I must say I am as well but how much did you spend on mods to accomplish this great feat?

Well to get into the 13 secs all you need is a turbo back exhaust 3" and apr chip so if you want to just hit those times its costs 1800 $ for my exhaust but thats an apr exhaust, amazing quality all chrome with life time warranty but you you can buy a techtronics exhaust for 800 $. Chip is another 800 $ but I got dealer lock out and stock mode and 93 octane stage 2 mode.
So if you want to bare minimum to get those times its only 2000 $ and that adds 60 hp to the wheel and you will be running 23 psi boost on the k03 turbo.
I have alpine screen 19 " bbs rims lowered my car and did a load of stuff and I have spent at least 13 000 $ on my car and more is to come.
I bought my car to customize it the way I want, I could of easily bought a g35 don't get me wrong if I didn't like to customize my cars I would of got the g35 with ease its a great car but as I said I wanted to customize my car.

id still take a stock 350z over the new gti whether yours beat it or not imo.
