Listen you drive an old SKYLINE something that is very fast but thats it man. I got to a hotel im treated like I have money... Fact is your car is from the 90's and wile it will have respect from people who know about cars, people wont respect you for it because its just an engine in a aged body. Skyline is an amazing car but I would never in my dreams have it as a Daily driver. I wanted a car that is a Conventinal Daily driver that can fit 5 with ease and is Fast. To say a GTI that can hit 13.2 with the right tires and on a good day is not fast is just pure stupidity because its a street car and its quality is just amazing, not one american car comes close to the interior quality in the gti of its dash layout the leather seats or the materials used.


Lets not forget the GTI is the original pocket rocket kids it is considered a sports hatch and its platform is a race platform. Uses the same engine as the new audi tt and that car is just pure beauty and amazing. The DSG Tranny is prob the greatest invention since the wheel itself and is the future of trannys if you like it or not. Lambo Bugatti Porsche VW Audi are all moving over to DSG/S-TRONIC TRANNYS wile can be used shifting manual clutches are being removed from the cabin are going in the tranny. I know I know you are all going to say AUTOS are for well its an auto and a manual and it is the future.

Im comparing the g35 and 350z in terms of speed and quality. The g35 the higher end version more luxurious car still doesn't compare to dash layout materials used and quality of the leather and interior design... If I spend 60 000 $ on my car I would hope it would be better then a 39 000 $ GTI which it does not. Not to mention the ride feels like im hitting a wall every bump in the road thus the horrible reviews from topgear and they rave about the gti.

IM TALKING ABOUT THE OVERALL PACKAGE OF THE GTI VS OTHER CARS!

For example a competitor of the GTI is the CIVIC SI. Stock for Stock there about equal in power and speed other then the fact you have to rev the out of the SI to have any power. The interior in the Honda Civic SI is just JUNK PURE JUNK ITS JUST ABYSMAL. Cheap plastic everywhere I feel I am im an ENLARGED TIWANESE TOY. Don't get me wrong the Engine is amazing, Honda makes great engines but when its comes to Interior quality I feel like im in a 10 000 $ car. Its pretty bad when The SI has worse interior then a Hyundai. Oh an Hyundai has stetted up big with their interior and engine they are great cars now, I would take one over a corolla or regular civic any day.

Cars like the 350Z which my friend bought he paid like 15 000 $ more then me the Interior much better then the si but for the money I would expect more.. Pannles rattle good speakers horrible stock brakes not even good enough for its stock power, my stock gti brakes out preform the stock 350z brakes with my power upgrades. This is just unacceptable when someone spends 15 000 $ more you would think it would have better parts but my argument is it doesn't... Engine is great but not 300 hp to the crank by any means, more like 240 -250 hp to the wheel, well thats what my friends 2006 350z dynoed at.

My car comes standard with 10 air bags standard bi xenon lights standard heated seats with the fabric standard heat mirrors standard headlight washers standard windshield washer nozzle wile Nissan charges thousands or for example Audi a3 the same exact car as mine but with a different body and interior. Same quality German design and quality interior same platform spec from spec but comes with only 5 airbags standard and they charge an arm and a leg not to mention the exact same dsg tranny is 500 $ more and stuff like headlight washers and xenon lights aren't standard.

The 2007 VW GTI IS THE BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK ON THE MARKET TODAY WHEN IT COMES TO QUALITY, ENGINEERING, AND LUXURY.

Anyone to dispute this please tell me another car in the 39 000 $ out the door tax included that compares to this car, Hey add 10 000 $ make is 49 000 $ and the GTI still beats them all.


Only think you can do to a 350z to make it faster then me with my proper track tires is to turbo it and supercharge it which will cost 10 000 $ not to mention it voids the warrant and doing stuff to a car that was not desgined for a turbo or ss will have constant major problems. I know people with Supercharge 350z's wile STUPID AMAZING FAST they have problems atleast once a month and if that engine goes your ****ed..


I HAVE MY ENTIRE WARRANTY IN TACT MY DEALER IS A MOD FRIENDLY DEALER AND they cant even tell my car has higher boost. All you do is put it into stock mode and turn on dealer lockout and boom your safe from the dealer. I have already have my pads replaced by the dealer after raping them for free. Already had my diverter valve replaced after blowing it.

A major reason I bought this car other then the luxury quality and engineering and overall bang for the buck was that I am able to mod the car and the warranty is in tact wile putting a turbo or a ss into a car like 350z kiss that engine/tranny warranty goodbye.



People are getting around 240 hp to the wheel with the mods I have.



LOL and this was just stupid... Yes the old vw engines from mk3/4 are pooh but you should realize VW has come back with a vengence and is doing great, using the 2.0t on vw's and on audis. It has been out for 5 years alredy in europe and is doing great, no more electrical problems no more bad desgine engines.
Sorry but the 2.0t FSI Engine has won awards all over the place for its amazing destine and having FSI with a TURBO and working so well. Not to mention the GTI has won a load of awards it self and has been rated to be one of the top 7 cars to hold its value in 5 years. I can buy a 2 year old 350z for like 30 000 $ thats horrible resell value, wile right now this second I could sell my car with 15 000 km for 1000 $ less then I paid for it new without the mods.

Yeah Skyline is a real relic, I have cars follow it just to get a better look daily. I have M3s,M5s, SL55s and 996TTs give me the thumbs up after highway runs when pocket rockets don't even try. Funny how with even a few mods I go out to the track and almost crash into slower traffic: Supras, Civics, Golfs, M3s, FDs and swapped 240s. Not a daily driver, WTF? Just a play thing for nice days its like my PS3.

Stock GT-R tranny will handle around 500hp, how about the DSG?
