Odd question... legos
 

How many of you played with legos as a kid?

And those of you who did... did you just build what the insturctions told you and leave it, or did you build your own things?


I want everyone to respond :D , i'm trying to prove a theory.


BTW - i did, and i built my own ****.

Yep, In fact, I think I still got big *** footlockers full of em in my basement somewhere.. haha.

I'd build the stuff with the instuctions first, then tear it apart and build my own stuff.

I have a **** load of them back at home... I built both, sometimes I took the **** apart also... right before I got out of the phase, I started building cars, and Adric still has the one I built.

I think Adric has everyone beat on the collection tho haha.

i loved legos they were the ****!! I remember i was building a monster truck, got half way through the instructions and made the rest all by myself and it turned out better than the pic but i had left over pieces... other than that i never followed instruction and "built my own ****"

Yeah I have **** load.. There mostly all in tact but my cat a few years ago owned tham all haha when she was young and energetic. some series I destryed and made **** out of them otherwise there all intact.

I had TONS of lego's. I would build per the instructions and leave it like that for a long time. Then later go back and build my own things. But whenever I built anything everything had to line up in certian directions and like on the pirate ships and such there had to be an equal amount of people on both sides and such. Sorry but if something isn't lined up it absolutly drives me crazy. Growing up I would clean my room everyday and once a week I'd take absolutly everything out and clean all the corners, under the bed, and such.

Never treated but I'm sure I have it. I must say though it's really nice always having a clean home and not being embaressed if people drop by unexpectly.

yeah i definatly had the legos followed the directions till i broke the finished product then made my own stuff

i did...i had a box full of them this box was about a 5 by 5 box

I did both.
My brothers and I had a ton of sets and we would play with them once they were all together as they were meant to be.I think my favorite were the space ones.
After awhile though we just started making our own creations.

You know what really chaps my *** now?

I just was pointing this out to adric the other day... Now when Im all grown up, they have ferarris and other cars and **** as sets... where were the cars when I was interested! :mad:

You mean legos has instructions of things you are supposed to build? Dang. I played with my brother's legos and we just built our own thing. We never had instuctions.....atleast that I know of lol.

i did both, i tryed building what it said and then when it was done id take it apart and build my own stuff.
