the pope can retire...it is totally up to him for what he wants to do there is no one to say well good job hes your retirement package for he is the highest on the ladder.....so he can do what he wishs its totally his call.

Dunno, I was too young to be in the operating room that day. Otherwise, I'm sure I could've popped that bullet out of there lickity-split. Apparently it was quite a serious wound in his abdomen.

All-in-all, he has managed to stay alive 84 years and has arguably been one of the most controversial popes in a long time.
