Heres the info fellas

Coming home from alameda cc got off on the emervyille exit going twoards berkeley. Made a right off the freeway and came to that one intersection that has cameras (for people running redlights, least i think so, if somebody knows different that would be a relief). Anywayz it was one of those yellow lights that you could stop at but could just as well go across but you know itll turn red at the last minute . Anywayz i knew it would turn red so i just gassed it. Donno if the camera flashed or not because i ducked my head all the way down. Now how does this work. Lets say it did get my plate but theres no way they got a picture of myself. I know its points on a licinse but if they did not get a picture of the driver of the vehicle how can they possibley put points on the licinse (not my cage, but will pay ticket if have 2). Think its fightable?

doesn't matter if they got the driver you still get a ticket (that's the big issue I have with them) but it's not supposed to be points

So what your just going to say someone else was riding the bike? I don't know if that will help you or not.

Yeah I think it goes to whoever is in charge of the vehicle. If you knew it was going to turn red and you knew it had cameras, why would you try to run it? :confused:

There is **** on ebay that you spray your liscense plate with so it just shows a glare when they take the picture. So they say.... I duno they dont have any of them camera thingys around here. about 20 miles from my house they enforce speed by aircraft a few of my friends got busted by that.

yea, how would you know it works? You would ahve to just run a light just to see if it works...and if it doesn't your screwed. I'd just rather not try to risk it, I stop at yellow...lol

cant tell u guys how many times ive gassed thru a yellow, i dont do that ne more tho cuz ive almost been in an accident like 7 times. :p still have yet to get a ticket btw, i speed by a sherif before, thought his lights would turn on but no, speed by a couple cops but they never followed, scared the crap outta me cuz i was goin like 70 in a 45 once n slowed down but passed em at like 55. so i try to do the spped limit more n jus cruse to show my car off.

it doesn't work your license plate already is reflective (not to mention adding a cover to the plate or anything to escape the cameras is the same as eluding a police officer)

yeah, thats' why I never tried it... i figured if a cop caught me I'd be toast.

tell him the cover came with the car ad you put it back on.lol. you can get out of a lot of stuff you jsut gotta know what to say. im gonna tell the cop that my front liscense plate bracket is in the mail when i get pulled over for no front plate.lol

yeah it didn't work with my tint still got the ticket with 2 points (and I bought the car at a dealership)

it all depends on the cop.

im gonna get a note thing or w/e from my doctor saying i need the tint. i have 35% on the back and nothign on the sides but when i get some money ill prolly do 35% on the sides and get a note, im not even sure what the limit is.
