To put it on or, Not to put it on.
Im curious, I usually dont wear Mine. Those Third gen Belts cut my neck. and I'm usually a Sunday driver. So I'm never in a hurry, If I'm gonna be late. By God I'll be late. I think the Seat Belt should be an option for those 20yrs+ old, I Put it like this. Seat Belts are for your Protection, and so are Condoms. Its your Choice to use it or not.

I allways do, seen to many crazy accidents and the aftermath. Its not worth it.
I dont know about everywhere else but kansas blues pull you over for not wearing your seatbelt without any other violations. Just for that reason. |
I allways do you never know when someone will randomly tbone you at an intersection it isnt worth it. Yea in WI you can get pulled for no seatbelt.
Yeah its a law in MN and WI now...
I say yes.. If the only reason youre not wearing it is comfort, then I suggest buying some seat belt pads. Thats what I have and I have no complains. Its your life though, but keep in mind you go flying through your window then youre just going to be another statistic for the reason we have seatbelt laws. |
i always do as well its not just if you are a good driver or in a hurry or not but its every one else and to me its just better safe than sorry
I absolutely never go anywhere without my seatbelt on.
I always wear my seatbelt.. I dont want to take the chance and die just becuase I didnt take 2 seconds to put on my seat belt..
I'll be completely honest, I dont always use it. Putting on a 5point harness every day is kinda annoying. But if im going anywhere of any real distance, I use it most definately.
I wear it always, plus in WA its the law, Click it or Ticket. Some people with a harness usually retain their stock seatbelt so they can still have a normal seat belt for Daily Driving.
yeah i always wear it just because of the fact that there are stupid drivers everywhere. Its more peace of mind than anything for me.
I always wear it, it's not just your life, it's th guy who has to clean your brains off the pavement you think about, and if the 3rd gen belt cuts your neck your either 3 feet tall, or have the seat leaned back (my mom is 4'11" and had no issues in all of mine)
Im 6'2 and, those little Brackets for the Belt are missing. I dont know why, thats the only part thats missing on my car. I wear my belt if i'm going to be in a City or going over 50. I've lived in maine for 1/2 my life. I live way out in the "stix" Up near Richarson Lake, you can look it up on google. theres nothing around, speed limits are 10 to 40.. But its more of a habbit just jumping in and taking a ride. And If I did Think about it I'd put it on, but I'm not use to it.
those little brackets are always missing, speed has nothing to do with it (I had to work cleanup on a crash in Atlanta that was in a 25 MPH zone and the driver was under his car mostly, some parts were on the hood and under the other car too)
yea, I havent seen any death taking wrecks. Except on the interstate. and I always wear my seatbelt while on the interstate.
I rarely wear one.
#1 I hate the fact that it's a law. Especially since I live in a state that doesn't have a helmet law for bikes, mainly because of Harley being here and no one would dare want to upset the great Harley Davidson company. #2 when I was little I got into an accident with my mom. I wasn't wearing a seatbelt and that saved my life. Had I been wearing one a big metal pole that was hanging out the back of a truck we got rearended into ended up going thru the windshield and into the seat right where my head would have been. Instead I got knocked forward and the pole went over the top of me. If the weather is crappy and the roads are bad I put it on. But it should be my choice, the govt shouldn't mandate it, and the govt shouldn't be allowed to forces states to impose the law by withholding federal funds. The govt doesn't stop people from eating ding dongs, and heart disease kills a ton more people then not wearing seat belts. All that said, it's probably a good idea to wear one. |

My point is that seat belts aren't going to save your life 100% of the time. Stuff happens and when your number is called it's called.
Like I said, it's probably a good idea to wear one. But that should be an individual's choice. |
i ware mine all the time. the dam taurus won't shut up if i dont. in the malibu, it's 50/50 it's jsut a driver so yeah i dunno
Always have mine on, feels weird without it. MI law = Click it or ticket
