lol I have to admit that I laugh every time I read about people not driving their camaro in the winter, I do it every day and it's not so bad.

It wouldnt be that bad in a v6. In my car im stop at a light and let off the brake and without touching the gas the car just shifts sideways.

yah it sucks to drive the z in the winter, or wet pavement, but it also sucks for ne rear wheel drive car, but the z's limited slip makes it worse!

TorqueDog 12-16-2004 04:35 PM

My V6 was just as bad as any V8.

meissen 12-16-2004 04:50 PM

yeah my car will slide the second I take my foot off my break in snow, too. I don't know, I just don't see the reason to pay that much more money and what not when you can just take extra precautions when driving in the snow and be fine. I mean I live in MI we get a crap load of snow with the lake effects from the great lakes and what not, and yeah there's some scary times there but millions of people drive in snow all the time.

I paid a whole $250 for the winter beater so i didnt have to drive "The Z" in the snow. Plus insurance is only $40 a month on it.

69z-28 12-16-2004 06:08 PM

i will be driven whatever car i get next all year round. if i could id get a beater but my pops wouldnt want two of my own cars in the driveway.

Ok, add some wide rear tires, lower it, and then add ground effects and tell me it's not so bad. When it was tock I always drove it in the winter but you just can't do that with all the mod's I've added.
