Hey,

whats the rule for etests in toronto? Does an 1986-1987 car need to be etested? Also whats the rule for the safety as well

I'm not 100% sure but you could probably google this or whatever...

Car's 1988 and newer must be tested. So you should be fine.
I remember when we went to test my friends 88 civic they where explaining it to us. And my friend with his 87 bronco does not need to be tested, but does need to get a safety.

I think '87 's need to be E-tested until January then never again.

'86 is now exempt forever.

'87 is the last year of exemtions.

An '88 vehicle will always have to be E-tested.

How about change your address to a northern ontario addy before you go to re-new your sticker. Then change it back.: It works. REALLY good with the kiosks in malls!!! Use a relative or friend.
