Show respect if you want any back
 

Now this isnt directed at the entire sport compact/ import crowd, but more to the few that spoil it for everyone. Some of you domestic owners fit this too.

Seems like ever since they built the new mcdonalds beside our mostly domestic hang out here in the Hammer, more and more imports have been showing up.
This is fine for some of us regulars there, but there are quite a few that seem to think we are impressed by your sad attempts at drifting through the parking lot and trying to do an 1/8 mile pass out the exit.
Not to mention all the garbage you leave in the parking lot when there is at least a half a dozen garbage cans there.
We are not impressed and you are getting us closer to getting kicked out of there. The cops used to leave us alone but have been coming around more often now. We dont want to have to find a new hang out.
So please, respect us and dont drive like idiots, put your garbage in the cans, and keep your stereos down. Otherwise find a different place to go.
Show us respect and we will show it right back to you.

Now to the people that were there last night that I talked to, You guys were great. I`m pretty sure a few of you were from this site.
I want to say thanks for not driving like idiots and I did see one of you pick up you trash. I hope I didnt come off like an to you guys and I`m sorry if I did but like said above, we dont want to lose are hang out.

Too the guys in the mcdonalds parking lot, smarten up. Your going to get us kicked out and there are more than a few guys there that wont be so nice about it.

Good luck with that. It'd be nice if they would behave, that's the main reason we get harrassed at the park in Canatara. For years, they left us alone, even though most of us had imports, aside from an 83 Malibu, with a 650 cfm holley, on a 383, a couple 80's Z28's, both with blowers sticking through the hodds, and an 85 Chevy 1500, with a fuel injected, super charged 454. And the cops would occasionally come through the park, but now, when I'm down in Sarnia, you can't sit there more than 10 minutes without a cop coming through. :smilie_d0 Maybe we're getting old, but I know I've never thrown garbage on the ground in the park, on for that matter at the race street. It's a matter of respect, and the younger generation just don't care. My son is going to be brought up different, and nowhere as near as much gaming as most of them. I think the main reason kids don't have respect, is parents aren't willing to teach anymore. They'd rather just sit the kids in front of the PS3, or X box, and do their own thing. It's the way it's going, and that's what parents, who actually take their kids places, are going to have to deal with.

It's the same for all spots. :smilie_da
