SIGHTING: yellow C4 vette@ martingrove/7

seen this yellow C4 vette at the timmies there couple of times. sounds like its procharged. anyways, last saturday night 1:30amish heading east on 7/yonge, saw it race cammed GTP. wondering if the owners on here, or if anyone knows about it?

l98 lt1 lt4 lt5? set up? power? 1/4 etc..

cheers.

That Yellow C4's a block of wood. Ran 14.0 in the 1/4 @ 118MPH at Shannonville last year. GTP should stick to racing Civics, they're faster.

True, It looks like it got beat by a "Stock" Toyota Camry last week, little kids started waving out the back window and were singing "The Wheels on the school bus" song.

The front bumper is an Australian race piece, wind tunnel tested to reduce air drag coefficient down to 0.29 (see below pic). It can be purchased at RMM (which also uses this platform for their Camry race car back in '96) for $220 USD.

And no, I didn't try to make the camry sporty. It is a nice sleeper, and yes, it is doing a good job being a sleeper because even you don't know much about it. This car is supposed to pick up groceries, and it still does. It also hauls my entire family during Sundays. It's not meant to be the fastest car on the planet, but I sure don't mind surprising a few people and try out something new.

One wheel burnout? The transmission is running a limited slip.

You should have done some research first before talking :loser:

Here's are pics of the front bumper:

Nice looking car. The front bumper looks ok, I wouldn't have used it, but if your going to roadrace it, well, there you go.
