sponsorship of your car

can someone tell me why you would want to have sponsorship for your car? What are pros and cons?

someone said they needed to come to our car show because their are part of carsponsorships.com

They typically can give you parts for relatively cheap if you advertise for them, i.e.- putting stickers on your car and making sure people know what parts you are running.

Personally I would much rather just save my money and not have my car be a running billboard for another company. I'm also not super huge into showcasing my car either, but I know some people are and thats cool.

So basically I would guess it comes down to what you would get as far as sponsors and what the requirements were to receive the parts.

ok..that makes sense... I wouldn't mind putting a sticker on the back of my window...but no where else. I already have

CADENCE on the back

and

I WANNA GO FAST- ricky bobby
AND I CAN

I added that touch to it

I ran a Sparco sticker for a year and got some of their products 50% off.

i wouldn't mind a sponsorship for some lambo doors! I'll show them off!

You might also have to attend so many shows. Which can become a hassle. I know a guy who has to drag his car all over the country for shows to take care of his sponsorships.

SexyWS6Mama 06-27-2007 04:33 PM

ahh. I will drag my *** to only shows I want to go too!

97z2801ss 06-27-2007 09:25 PM

yea thats kinda gayt hough i wouldnt wanna go all over the country unless they paid for it... hahaha

korndogg 06-27-2007 09:53 PM

they do pay for it.......

tease 06-27-2007 09:58 PM

I'm not a big fan of putting stickers on my cars....but I do have one on top of the windshield of the Camaro, and i'm proud to have it there :) Its a Finishline Performance one....the shop that built my car :)

Racing Sponsorships don't always pay out either unless you place in a certain spot or higher too when racing.
