ok im sick of being pulled over every week just cuz i have a fast car its just not right.. anyone haveing the same happening to them.? like its not fair to the ppl out there who take it to the track get picked on and named a SREET RACER by every cop out there. what do you guys think,

a buddy of mine just showed me a writeup he got from the internet today. I didn't catch the whole thing, but the main jist was that the police have the right to seize any car they see thats driving down the road which appears to be modified for racing. As I said, I didn't read the whole thing but it was pretty scary. My car is done up pretty good, I don't get much flak from cops, I think I've been pulled over 2 times in 2 years. I think its all in how you drive. Obey the rules of the road and don't weave in and out of traffic like a mad man pushing the red line and they won't bug ya

Lmao, what kind of question is that, they are obviously targeted. I have had my talon on the road for 5 months out of the 9 months ive owned it, and ive been pulled over about 7 times, and i have 8 tickets ( only 3 cops gave me tickets )... never speed, never roll a stop sign. obey all rules. they are all for non moving violations like impropper muffler and . they (I) are a huge target, and its unjust.

When they see my car, even when travelling in opposite directions, they'll make a u-turn, just to pull me over and tell me that my exhaust is loud lol.
within 5-6 minutes of being pulled over. You'll see another cop (even 2,3 sometimes) just show up at the scene. That just makes thing's worse because you're pulled over on a main road, all the ppl that drive-by think that you just raced or you are in some sort of BIG trouble.

What's the first thing that comes to your mind? When you see a Modded out car pulled over, and like 3 cop cars behind it.

My exhaust isnt even that loud, and I don't drive like a jackass (esp. not in that area)

Do sport compact drivers get pulled over more often than other drivers? I saw this is a fair statement. Whether or not this is "unfair" is another question. If you see a modded civic, is it more likely to be a male in his teens, who is statistically a higher risk driver, or a soccer mom? Getting pulled over more often doesnt seem any less fair to me than young drivers paying higher insurance premiums to reflect the fact that they as a group are more likely to be engaged in reckless activity.

As a side note, ive never been pulled over in my camaro, but have been pulled over 3 times in while driving my gf's IS300 (stock), and my camaro is a lot louder than her lexus.

Are you sure it was tint that was too dark? Man , peel is the worste. I had one lady cop pull me over when I was doing speed limit , her partner claimed I was doing 95 km / hour and saw me zoom out of the Kennedy's parking lot. Which pissed me off because I was doing exactly speed limit as I was going south down kennedy after work. The joke is I was coming all the way from Kennedy and Queen. They were just saying that so they could breathalize me i guess, which they did. You should have seen their faces when I blew 0.00 . Another time I was leaving work late pulling out of my drive way I got pulled over cuz supposedly a silent alarm in the building next door was tripped and there has been a lot of break in in the area... to bad i know the guy next door and his alarm is not silent. Waited for an hour for him to figure out what he was doing (read an entire auto trader). Retards. Anyhow , i got a few tickets each time which were later on fought and dismissed, but what a hassle. Its too bad the few idiots like this have made me hate all cops.

Cops these days are ridiculous. I got followed back to my place one day for nothing. He pulled in behind me just to hastle me. All because I accelerated to the speed limit and you could hear my intake.

Lowbalt is right. Most cops will try to be nice to you. They are so used to being treated like the enemy I think many of them just turn into dicks. You can tell by how they act right of the hop if they are someone you can get along with. Some people get so pissed that they are being pulled over and harassed, or held up they lash out at the cop or give them attitude. Lets all play nice and make the nice officers day. LOL

my work truck happens have air ride... well only cuz the guy
threw in the air ride parts with the truck... what a mistake that was
i get pulled over for riding lower than stock with pathfinder chromes(which is tiny).

I tell'em i don't care about all the flashy stuff and i'm just struggling to
maintain the car and i dun get ***** sponsored by rents like couple kids around. ****in dicks, they can go ****'em selves

i play nice man, couple times, i tell them calmly what my situation is and how
i just needed a truck n this guy wanted my civic badly, he had a truck n we traded n i tell'em how i work everyday to start my own landscaping company.

couple cops are nice, (they still give tickets tho) but some are just ****in ignorant ****s
