well i went to the mazda stealership out of boredom and conned them into letting me take out a brand new mazdaspeed6. car is cool. 4 cylinder turbo, awd and a 6 spd. heated leather seats and a ton of cool other . so i grab a buddy of mine and we decide to test the car out by first seeing how it handles a redline launch. car bogged a little but ****ed off pretty hard, it pulls strong through all the gears. 100 kph in 4th and the car doesnt hesitate just wakes up and goes. theyre rated at 270 hp and i tell you this thing is definatly faster than a wrx and feels even faster than a stock srt4. car handles nicely for a larger car, you hammer the gas in a turn and it just pulls where your pointing. brakes, hah, well at 120 kph i hammer them and it sounded as if the front bumper had move love with the pavement. overall im quite impressed with this thing. if i were in the market for a sporty sedan this would be the ticket. its a sleeper for one, very comfrotable riding, very smooth over shitty roads, handles nice, stops good and has more than enough power to make me happy. all in all id give this car an 8 out of 10.

oh and the car took a spin to over 8000 rpm aswell, i believe redline is 6000 but we were putting it through the paces and after winding out second i missed third and caught first, made a cool noise and the tach buried but other than that nothign immediate happened. one complaint about the car, the shifter. the throw is a little long for my liking and its a bit on the sloppy sidei guess you can call it. other than that its a great little car

theyre supposed to. i actually went in there on sunday to take out an rx8. played dumb on the car asked alot of questions and he offered me a test drive this week and i asked for one that day but they were technically closed at that time already. so i said id come back in on tuesday. so i did and they were packed with people and understaffed. so i hung out for a bit, sat in another 6 the regular version and he came over and told me they had a turbo version, so i took alook at that, noticed one of their sales guy had driven off the concrete pad with a saturn viu he was moving around so i offered to pull him out with my truck. hung around for a bit more and he ofered to let me take the 6 out by myself. im sure it helped the fact that i told him ive got my own business, which i do, and that cost of vehicle isnt a concern for me as i wanted something sporty yet practical. talked about some other cars i had lined up that i was thinking of buying and i wanted to compare to the rx8 but then he showed me the 6 and i was all about that little car. so i sounded extra excited and enthused and if you talk your way through their defense your all good to go. helps im also not some 18 year old kid anymore ;)

mind you going out withthe sales guy desnt stop me from being hu, un graceful. test drove a vr6 golf or something a few years back with a buddy and had the girl freaked out. throwig the car into turns, blasting up the roads and hiways. she looked a little intimidated when i dropped her and the car off, lol

One of my good friends has a mazdaspeed 6 and it's a beast all year round. 2 Thumbs up from me.

I remember doing 4 wheel doughnuts in the parking lots this winter. I've never felt anything like that before.

yeah its a cool little car. just a shame all the new cars carry such a large price tag. if you want anything decent your spending 35k+

Off topic., what do you think of the 07 350 Z ? a guy at work has one, it looks cool. great big tires on it. I'll snap some pics if there is interest.

my boss had an 06 with the brembo brake son it. he lte me take it out and it was a cool little car. fun to drive, peppy enough and stopped like a bastard. he had never had the car over 160 kph, lol, i saw over 200 in it, told him all abou , lol

god i dont think i could ever own a sports car like a 350z and no go over 160...lol the first day i got it i would do what you did lmao

I'll try and remember to bring my camera to work, I had him pop the hood the other day, pretty cool, has dual air intakes and MAF sensors...

he was pretty conservative. he baught the car to extend his penis and then his of a gf made him sell it, lol. but he just wasnt as unstable as most of us are and 160 was plenty fast for him. hes now got a spec v that we were talking about boosting

they look really nice.... but then again its still a mazda
