tonight at work
ok well i have a pretty boring job so this is the biggest thing that has happened there since ive been there i just thought id share it.
well since gas prices hit the roof my boss has been telling us to watch for drive offs. so tonight i seen someone in a red jeep cherokke (sp?) get 73.00 worth of gas and for some reason i just kept watching them. well they didnt come in and pay, instead they got in their vehicle and backed up. the first thing i did was grab my keys and hell at my co-worked.. "watch this ***** on pump 8" so when the jeep started to turn around i jumped in my car and took off. i chased this car at probably 80mph (on some little country roads so 80 felt like 110) for about 5 miles. finally i get close enough to read the license plate but the ***** had ducktape over it. so eventually the jeep gave up and pulled over. to my suprise it was a girl about 18 years old that got out almost trying asking me not to call the cops. she said that she would come back and pay for it. well i didnt wanna take a chance so i got her to take the tape off her plate and called in her plate number to my co-worker. well i called my boss as asked him what he wanted me to do about it and he said he would talk to her. so 5 mintues AFTER we closed the girl shows up to pay for it, she was late so we already called her plates in
. the girl said she just got scared and was coming back to pay anyways... ya... right...
i figured i share the story because it was just a good chance for my to give my car a little hell for a good cause. my boss said that i could add an extra hour to my pay which is only 6.30 :banghead: . but playing cops and robbers was fun.

How do you "run" off with it? Dont you have to slide your ATM card threw the machine or feed the pump bills first before the pump even works?

All we have to do here is hit a button that says pay inside and lift up the thingy and it starts to pump.. So it would be preety easy to run off with gas here.
and no the girl wasnt hot.

ya we authorize all the pumps but they have to hit pay inside before we can do it. ya i wasnt scared when i was chasing her but i figured when she stopped that i was about to get shot.

yeah it would be easy, but now i wont try it when we got aarontracys out there kickin *** 
to arch: we just hit pay inside, then they authoize, and you fill up with gas... when you are done you just go inside and pay
