Tonsillitis
 

Has anyone ever had this? I have it and its horrible.......Its like strep throat but 1,000x worse. I havent had anything to eat in 2 days i cant hardly drink it hurts sooooooo bad. Im out of school till thursday (and work wOOt) But this sucks im going crazy because of it.... :(

Anyone have any advice on this?? I already been to the doctor so im taken penicillin

I get it about once a year, you just kinda suffer, my dad gets the same symptoms and has no tonsills

Don't know what else to say, I've never had it or strep throat.

my mom and sister got it... they both got their tonsils out, and i think they stopped getting it so bad.

If you have any pain meds, use them.

i think I used to get it or something, I dont know I had my tonsils taken out when I was really young.

never had it but sounds like it sucks. the thing i get a lot is i wear my contacts for like a month straight and have allergies so the contacts become infected and ALWAYS mess my eyes up and they get really bad and itch like crazy to the point where i cant take it and have to like wear a wet towel over them and cant open them at all. but yea mouth pain sucks too.

Yea i get it about once a year also usually late in the fall i dont know why... but last winter when i got mono that was the worst ****** ordeal that hurt like a ************

I get somethin like that in the spring with the pollen of some flowers on trees they have them all the way down main street in my town 3 on each block, it looks pretty when they bloom but i cant wear my contacts and my eyes are like pure red for a week or so but the worst part is i cant keep my eyes open with bright lights or the sun the whole time, it hurts bad

Yeah, it sux. I was getting it really bad there a couple of years ago. But I haven't had it in a while.


The allergy thing is so horrible. I've been having eye problems for like 2 months now. I have to get a new pair of contacts every week because of my eyes right now.

yea when **** goes wrong with my eyes i get pissed cuz i spend the extra money and get gray contacts they look badass , my eays natural are weird top parts brown then it fades into a dark to light green on the bottom, my grandfather has the same the way was so i supose its just hereditary, o well i got weird lookin color eyes chicks dig em, i got nicest eyes in my senior yearbook last year... go figure...

i used to get it really bad when i was younger. i was literaly in the dr's office every two weeks with it or strep throat. eventually they took them out. i've only had it once since then.

Well its day 3 and this morning I was able to drink with no bad pain...still pain but bareable Im also finally eating light/soft things so things are getting better thank god!
