Tuesday cannot get here fast enough.
 

On Tuesday I will officially know if I have a job. I filled out an application for O'Reilly's autoparts and got called in for an interview. Did the interview and went back home and had to fill out a booklet of papers. Manger told me he would call on Tuesday and tell me what is up. Kind of ticks me off though, I bust my azz going around putting in apps and get nothing. Then I drop an app in at O'Reilly and get called a few day later. :confused:

yeah you would think they could bust their *** a little so they get an employee...

Yeah they seem to be dragging their feet, might be hiring me cause I have put in apps for that place like 4 times.

i had the same thing when i shifted to auto parts places. autozone called me after about a week, but i was already working at javiers. now i'm trying to apply there again and they havent called me again...pep boys will though :) when theyre done remodeling their store theyre gonna hire me :) auto parts is where its at!

yeah what are you going to do? sales, parts, service? they thought i was applying for service since i was a vette mechanic. ima do parts for a while then switch to service once i've been working for them for a while.

Were kind of multi purpose guys. Really we do anything and everything. :confused:

I hope not, I need a job! I think I might have it anyway. I mean that was a big booklet full of info and stuff. I'd be pissed if I don't get hired and I had to fill all that crap out. :mad:

yeah thats what pep boys used to do. you fill out all theyre legal employment stuff with the first app, doesnt mean you will be hired. unlike me, they said theyd hire me its just that my problem is being 17. so he's gonna make a call when theyre done remodelling and i might be able to work now or if not that february for sure so i'm good :p
