Video software info needed

Basically Im looking for a basic video editing program which will allow me to compile manｙ short videos. I had a older version of Arcsoft impressions that worked great, but I no longer hold the program.

Any help pertaining to this question is greatly appreciated.

Adobe Premier Pro 1.5 is what im using ^^Pinnacle is also a good choice!

I use microsofts movie maker. Great for splicing short "movies" from the net. :)

I would use win movie maker, bu tmy OS in Jap so thats out of the question. Im gonna look for Pinnacle.
