Anyone vote yesterday?

I didnt for three reasons.

Most importantly, I honestly have no idea whos going for what... And I really dont care. Im sick of seeing/hearing ad campaigns.

Second, I dont even think I can legally vote here... Im not a permanant resident.

Third... I worked from 6am-10pm.

So update me on the good stuff if theres any.

MN is retarded, that's all you really need to know...how we can elect democrats into office and yet keep a republican gov. is beyond my knowledge.

I couldn't (still registered in MI because Al is communist and won't communicate with other states on a drivers license)

Mikerock 11-08-2006 06:17 PM

I had my post but here in WI Doyle won again which I hate but on the good side marrige is now legally defined as between one man and one woman(no gay marrige), and the people voted for the death penalty.

haha... WI has the death penalty now?

camaro94 11-08-2006 06:33 PM

no, there just wasn't anybody I wanted to vote for.

I think gay marriage shouldnt be illegal, and as cool as the death penalty is. I think the people would suffer more sitting in a cell all alone.

The people voted for it but that doesn't mean it's offical yet. Doyle will probably veto it like he does when the people try to pass things.

BTW the vote is to bring back the death penalty, not start it.

FrYd-RyS 11-08-2006 07:46 PM

i voted no on the gay marraige thing because there was more than just the marriage thing in that vote. It also had to do with being able to make decisions and insurance issues if you are not married. Which, I am not married but if I date my gf for 5 years and we live together, I think I should have some say incase she was to get hurt.

Not tying to start anything or sound rude but if you were to live together for that long why not get married?

korndogg 11-08-2006 08:04 PM

well I know but Im just saying....like if we were engaged or something and then something happened and that prevented me from being able to do something. I dunno.

I understand where you're coming from. But you need to remember, I got married at 21 so I started nice and young.
