VW day at TMP.
Guys when you are travelling a known route from the city to the strip , or from the strip to the city. try an use some common sense EH?. Especially if you are in a group of easily identifiable brand specific cars .We all read the bad press about retardo drivers doing stoooopid things / stunts in traffic . Heres one done to me last weekend .
Went to TMP later saturday afternoon , it was VW day an I figgered since me an Ding were in the area , we might try an catch some test an tune or whatever was going on . Turned out strip was closed down . So we head home an end up going the usual route back along 20 into Hammer Town. We are driving our Grand cherokee 5600 lb gvr . Driving along about 10-15 k over the limit moving along with traffic minding our own business. I was driving along just on the right of the centre of the tire ruts in the pavement . A silver Golf or something VW passes us ...No probs.... I glance in the left side mirror and some FAG in a second silver VW does a skim along the side of our vehicle pass . Whips out no signal I think , passes us with his tires on my side of the double line FREAKIN CLOSE. then whips back in no signal . Personally no real harm done , I always find it entertaining to see someone else openly , unabashedly display how much of an idiot they are . I was thinking of getting out at the next light tapping on the bugs window . Then attempting to shove the guys left ear out thru the other side of his head. Of course about that time Ding reminds me of how much money I spent on my last assault charge defence costs . Again no harm done , but note the gv wieght , go look at the gv weight of your vw an think about this , when I saw you coming I could have as easily drifted over to the inside ( my side ) of the line . A confrontation Me an the Grand Cherokee would have won no problems . And you would have been at fault and would have had to prove why you accidently hit me from behind on a double line section of road . But I held my line so you could live . This is a prime example of the problems racers shouldnt have to deal with going to and from the strip especially from other car enthusiasts . Note we were passed a few minutes later by a more sensibly driving group of maybe 5 Vw,s on same road . This group included a black or darker coloured vw . Personally I dont give a flying f%^k what vw guy thinks of me or this posting , just realize You are the part of the problem for the rest of us . I,ll watch for your headlines in the Toronto Sun..77. |
must have been vw vortex guys, most of them are complete assclowns.
and chances are if they nazi schnitzel transport vehicle hit your cherokee youd end up in a ditch, those ****ers are like tanks, lol |

one guy on the vortex forum painted his discs and calipers, another guy had an s2k on there and was feeding nitrous into the valve cover ad couldnt figure out why he wasnt making any power. come on now, how fuken brain dead are some people, lol

doesnt matter if his car runs 7's in street trim on space savers, you grab another mans junk like that and you have some issues, and it wasnt just a touch, he grabbed and fondled. makes you wonder about the vw guys ;) lol

No not all drivers are knobs , but it just adds to the fight against building a strip in the gta . One of the biggest issues against a gta strip ...Local citizens an governments dont wanna deal with the riff raff , juvy,s or damned street racers that frequent that kinda place . Like if,n you wanna drive all manly like . Ya know " I,ve got bigger vtec ( etc etc etc ) then you ". Ok , giver, just dont do it on one of the 3 main roads to get to and from your local drag strip and home .
I really think they outta change the name to Dohtec . Kinda like sorry officer , I was trying to get outta the parking lot and Dohtec kicked in ..77. |
