Well wasn't that just ****ing magical.
So I'm chilling at the computer table typing up a post while finishing off a bag of Tositos (or however you spell it) salsa and chips. Well, I finished off what was left in one jar and so I opened up a second one. When I was done I picked up the empty jar and the bag of chips and for some reason I had a lapse of intelligence because I put the almost full jar of salsa on my bed. As I'm walking out of my room my shoe snagged one of my sheets and of course the jar tips over on my bed! :mad::banghead: Well not wanting wake up the folks (it is 3 AM and I do not feel like hearing it from them) I removed the salsa and broke out one of my two secret weapons, in this case it was a bottle of simple green, I basically hosed down the sheets and with this stuff and removed most of the stain with a paper towel. The sheets are just going to have to soak over night in some simple green until I can wash them in the mourning. Now here is for the really great part, when this first happen I took what was left of the jar of salsa and tossed it in my bathroom sink. I filled the sink with water and then something crossed my mind, salsa contains onions, chilis, peppers, and other cheap synthetic looking vegetables. Well, the drain in the sink immediately clogged so I removed the water with a glass and then I finally just took a Gooodwrench pick and cleared the drain. Of course then the crap must have grouped together down in the plumbing, so I was left with one final option, I had to break out the deadliest cleaning bottle of all.... Castrol Super Clean. I sprayed a large amount down the drain then waited for 25 minutes. Then I added some simple green to the mix and then waited 5 more minutes. Filled the sink to about a 1/4 of the way and the clog was clear. So in the end I have a sheet and a bed chilling with some simple green and my room smells like a mint, all in all a shitty way to end the night.
