I have a friend in japan and is coming home to visit in a few weeks.....what phone could i get there that would work here and cant get here or is really expensive here to get?

I am with bell but am thinking of going to rogers so a rogers capable would be alot better.

Give me some help with this i really have no idea what to ask her to get for me....

well you can basicaly get any phone thats a GSM phone, baecsue everything gets programed into ur sim card.

Moto Razor is a great phone. The Bluetooth ear piece makes people think you're talking to yourself, but if you can get past that, it's handy.

Personally I think the Razor is gay.. but I hate motorola.. their interface sucks ***...

but I can tell you this... make sure that the phone you get has the 850 mhz band, that's Roger's strongest band.

So you're probably going to be limted to quad band phones only... since 850 doesn't exist anywhere except in NA.

Good luck. They suck. I've been w/them for years and just left them this year. Worst wireless network ever. I've been with them all and have gone back to FIDO. You're safe with Rogers or FIDO IMO.

BAHAHAHHAHAHAHA Razr is such a rip off for its feature, there's nothing really "AMAZING" in Japan that you can't get here.
