I like a few trance tracks too but the bass hits way too hard and quick.

well trance is quite different from house music. if you like the fast hardcore stuff from 140bpm and up, then trance is your music. House music is stuff from 120 - 130bpm and have a deeper feel to it. the bass on house music doesnt really hit hard and quick, its mostly about the synths in house music that actually make it house music.
