Where to store my car ?
So I guess I won't be able to sell my sleeper for 40% of what I've spent on it , and because most of my spendings were done thinking at the long term life of the car , I guess it's best for now to store it somewhere untill I get the time , energy and cash to finish it off .
I have to move out of this building , and the parking here is 40 $ / month . Does anyone know if I should even look for storage space somewhere , or is 40 $ allready cheap enough and I should go ask my landlords nicely to let me keep the car here ? |
Aren't those storage garages cheaper? Something like 30 or 25 a month?
|
i dunno that's why i'm asking :)
|
where do you live around? i can search for a storage place near it... pm me if you want.
|
Hey thanks so much ,
|
if parking is only $40 a month keep it. I went looking a couple of months ago for storage fwhile my house is being built and the units were like $130/month for a 10'x12' and 180+ for a 12'x20'

daaaaaaaaaaaamn ... i see
so i guess i should be on my way to get friendly with my future ex land lord . |
probably best, but I'd say check around though just to be sure. I always thought that storage places were cheap but was I ever shocked
|
Outdoor storage is cheap you can always find a lot.Get some plastic lay it across the parking space.Park the car on it,get a good waterproff tarp and your set.Just pop by every so often and start her up and maybe even for a spin around the area to keep the brakes fresh and the seals from getting hard.

This is indoor .
And these cockriders don't want to let me keep on using the spacce . I'll try to convince a neighbour to put the space under his name |
I have a buddy who has under ground parking at his building. It has security entrance so no one can get in and crap. thats where i store mine. If someone questions whos it is, my buddy says its his and he doesn;t drive it in winter....
