Funny her fear didn't keep her from leaving NYC. I'd think if I was that scared of another attack, I'd get the F out of the city.

Somehow I'm not surprised somebody would think to do that. Sadly enough she will prol get money since its cheaper for companies to settle out of court than go to trial...

yea, i wish I could get a mill off a settlement...people are sue happy, wish people werent so selfish, its not like everysingle family member ofevery victim is going out after the company...messed up.

Yeah I know...ForceFed's right they will settle out of court and she will get a very, very nice sum for this "disturbance."

I also hate seeing the lawyers on tv telling me "if you took the drug (pick one) then you may be entitled to a cash settlement" that's why the price of crap is so high to pay for the stinking lawsuits

Actually when it comes to the drugs on TV those are typically legitimate lawsuits- the drug companies race each other to try and be the first on the market for a miracle drug so that their name becomes the mainstay. Unfortunetely those drugs are released before they are fully tested or testing is fast-tracked. But the settlements those firms offer are typically far less than what the people are truely entitled.

That lady is a bisch, She just wants some money. I have a lot of friends here that got back from Iraq and Afganistan some of them have PTSD, you dont see any of them sueing places for dead animals on the road that brings back flashbacks of IED roadside bombs. Its a no brainer The lady needs a slap it the face to bring her back to reality.

They can only rush them so much. They have to be tested and approved by the FDA before they ever hit the market. My dad is a scientist for the world's largest medical company and believe me, he couldn't rush anything if he wanted. He has to go through so many legal channels, it takes years before it even get's to the FDA then it takes a long time after going through them before it can be sold because the FDA does all their own tests as well.
Normally they start selling in Europe first because their governments aren't as strict as the FDA so by the time his stuff ever hits the U.S market it's been tested in the lab and been used by millions of people for years already.
