midrange will become famous soon enough
OH your in for a treat. The 2.7 is the worst motor Chrysler made.. They are very common for blowing up, and heavy sludge build up. Trannies are usually strong in them and will last the motor for the most part. They are very common for building up air in the cooling system which is why they have a bleed nipple right at the front with very easy access to burp it once and a while. They designers are dumb and put the batter right in front of wheel well and the vents to air out the battery let all the dirt, sludge, water, ice, snow, salt sand hit your positive terminal causing it to short out. Also the blower fan fault easy and always cause a large amp draw causing the blower resistor to blow which means the fan will only work on high. There is lots of problems with the 2.7 and is common for oil pumps to fail causing it to seize. Make sure you do oil changes every 3000km, make sure your oil never drops below the full line.. When your oil light fades on and flickers a bit, thats your oil pump starting to fail which is the case 98% of the time, the other 2% is a bad sensor.

good luck, i sure didn't along with many other 2.7 owners.. If your ever in need of parts, your not short any, 100's of blown 2.7' part outs on kijiji.
