Directv

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone had any information regarding Directv in Canada. I want to know how I can get one and about the programming and all of that stuff. If someone could PM me aout any information and sites I could check out id appreciate it.

I want Directv cause the channel I want (Setanta- It plays all the Rugby games) is only offered on American Dishes

Direct TV is down and there is no fix.
The only way to get it would be to get a subscription through a us address.

Get an FTA receiver and you can get dish network.
Channel list is here. not sure if its on there I didnt go through it but there are alot of different satellites you can point your dish at that mite have it.

I just got a viewsat extreme 2000.
Nice little unit and nice price too.
Highly recommend it just make sure its not a clone.

yes there are a few HDfta units on the market but your looking 450+ range
The only HD you can decode is illegal in canada!!

Viewsat is a life saver i got mine pointing at bell and dish i have so many movie and music channels i never get bored

What kinda chanels can you get? Ive seen the lists of free to air channels and they all suck, they are like TVO and stuff like that. Do you actually get good stations when you do this?

fox abc nbc cbs etc
Discovery, TLC, tnt, tbs speed
History, a&e
mtv vh1
pay per view. sports and movies.
Alot of different fox sports channels and other sports channels.
NFL, NHL, MLB, NBA ppv channels
Porno
HBO, showtime, and a bunch of other movie channels.
Thats just from one of the 2 dish net sats. Lots more ppv on the other.
