Favorite Cellphone brand

my daughter and I just bought 2 new cellphones. We have the LG Rumor 2 and I am so happy with them. When we were looking for the phones, we had so many different people suggest so many different phones. I decided to go with the one I liked.

What is your favorite brand when it comes to buying a cellphone?

I had a Rumor right before I got my current Blackberry. I can't get enough of it now - I have my e-mail from all 3 accounts forwarded to it, I'm a total text-a-holic, and I update my Facebook from it constantly. I'm a busy person, and the Blackberry suits me perfectly.

I've used several makes over the years. I always go back to nokias. I'm eyeing up the new iPhone 3G S.

I have had motorola, Sony Ericcson and Samsung in the past as well.

The problem is that you have to buy certain brands for certain carriers, and that bugs me. That said, I've always had good luck with Sony Erickson and Samsung phones.

So far I have been really happy with my Rumor 2. I think the only complaint I have is that getting on the internet is like walking across water--"Yep, you can't do either."..LOL

I looked at blackberry's but am not ready to spend the money on them. Maybe someday. Until then, I will just use my computer to read my email. :)

The Blackberry Curve 8330's just got replaced, so their practically being given away by some carriers even though they're still great Blackberries. I think Sprint might be selling them for $100, but you get like $75 off if you're starting a new contract!

I presently use a Blackberry Curve and love it. Prior to this I have always had one of the Palm smartphones and I actually love the one just realeased, the Pre.

I've had really good luck with Nokias. I don't do a lot of texting though and I don't get on the internet. My current cellphone is a Nokia and I've had really good luck with it so far.

I was always a big fan of Nokia, then i switched to LG...after that the world of smart phone began, so i bought the SE P1i great phone at the time battery life wasnt so good. after i lost it i got the HTC Touch PRO great phone also loved the qwerty slide keyboard, but the battery life was beyond horrible....now i have the iphone 3Gs....WOW amazing amazing phone, the only thing that kinda pisses me off is that one app or app window can be opened at a time... hope they build on it next year, seems like apple will be bringing out a new iphone every summer...

Actually I do like the Blackberry too.. My boss has one and he was sitting there at lunch going through his emails. Suddenly he looks at me with a frown and says "don't want to ruin lunch, but we just got a reply from the supplier from this morning saying we need to decide on the order and get it to them in 30 mins or they won't have time to deliver.."

I groaned and started to look for the waiter when the boss stopped me and showed me his blackberry. He had the whole order right there in the reply they had sent! I told him, "that's the right order, but I have to fax it back to them and I need to hit the bank on the way back to the office so I gotta run..". He just laughed, clicked reply, changed the "email address" to their fax number, and then said "good to ship" in the main body and clicked send. Apparently that email, including the PDF order sheet gets magically delivered by internet fax (he uses something called metrofax?) back to the fax machine at the supplier's desk!

We actually took an extra 15 mins for lunch because the boss doesn't like to see work interrupt lunch.. Gesh! We spent 3 mins sorting it out and didn't have to do anything!

Now I want one of those blackberry phones so badly.. :)

Ive been thinking about the iphone and I suppose if it had some sort of BBM setup I would go for it, but the reality is BBM is the reason I stick with the BB.

It is safe to say that iPhone will never have a BBM client that conencts with BB users. If Rim was smart they would allow a bbm client for iphone and have a $2 a month service charge for it...people will pay.
