The one that Windows provides is pretty good. Provide you have a legit copy of Windows or a good key

agreed! thats are the best 2 out there right now, but the best way to protect yourself is to watch what u click on and install and watch what websites you go on, i hardly have a probly with spyware.

i know when you install some programs it also asks you to install google tool bar and all that kinda stuff as well. so just read everything, i know its a pain but its worth it in the long term...it was for me.

nod 32 in conjunction with adaware, tune up utilities and AVG is like the superfriends of antivirus software... any combination of these will do you wonders visit your local torrent site <torrentspy.com> and download the appropriate torrent urls

go to trendmicro and use their free online scan. its pretty good.

if you are using xp, make sure you turn off system restore before scanning.

Don't put your anti-virus and spy-ware removal tools into one basket. Use a few removal tools.

It usually takes a few scans in safe mode, with system restore (Windows XP) turned off.
