Hardware recommendations
 

I'm on an old computer and plan to upgrade sometime in the next year (I hope). I'm really tired of lags, slow loads, and other problems related to having an old computer. What would you recommend, hardware wise, to really give me a computer that I can play games on and never had to worry about overdoing the RAM? I want to play multimedia without system resources ebbing to a halt. Let me know what you think I should be looking for.
