How do you edit a movie format and which software to use?

you can use Sony Vegas, what you do is. Open up the video as a new project and once its there, you click "render video as" then it gives you a selection of what to save it as. You can choose from WMV to AVI or whatever format you want.

You can also do this in Windows Movie maker. Just do the same thing open up the video and drag it into the timeline(YOU DO THE SAME IN VEGAS). Once its there save the video and you can choose which format you want.:smilie_da
